I do have some updates to post. A few weeks ago I found a lump on my left breast. I brought it up at our doctor visit on Wednesday. They felt it and decided that I needed to get an ultrasound to get a better look at it. Thursday I went and had the ultrasound done. And now we are getting a biopsy done on Wednesday. Now, there is no need for anyone to worry. It is a tissue mass. Not a clogged milk duct or fluid filled cyst. But they think it looks like a non-cancerous tissue mass. So, Wednesday we are going to get the biopsy and the following Tuesday I see my Oncologist (cancer doc) and Wednesday I see the OB again. So, now we play the waiting game again.
As you see, I have put together a slide of the belly growth as I can't believe just how big it has gotten in the last few weeks. I am very very excited to meet my little girl, especially now as I feel her move around a lot and the movements are stronger. The other day it felt like she was sticking her elbow (or maybe a knee) out and I could feel the whole arm or leg when I touched it with my hand, it was weird.
We also bought a special bag for Mattie.. I'll have to get a picture up on here. It is just a diaper bag from Pottery Barn Kids, but it has her intials on it so I think it is extra special.
Kelly and I have started putting together our hospital bag. The last week or two I have been buying little things for the stay and Kelly pulled out a bag. He put everything in its own little compartments and even put tags on each section of the bag that states what goes in it so we won't have to dig around to find things when we are in the hospital. And I got our diaper bag all ready too. Now all we need is to find the take-home outfit for Mattie and I think the diaper bag will be ready. We still have to put an extra set of clothes for Kelly and clothes for me to wear home as I doubt that I will fit into the outfit I am going to wear to the hospital.. It's exciting and nerve racking as well. Time is flying by, but I guess that is a good thing. The only bad part of being pregnant for me right now is not being able to get comfortable to sleep, but we've got the pillow thing down so that doesn't bother me so much anymore. And my feet hurt really bad when I'm at work, but we bought some ace bandages to wrap them up to help support my ankles and arches when I'm on my feet all night.
